The Little things
I am a believer in doing the little things – things that may go unnoticed or may receive recognition.

who thats girl...
I'm that girl that holds a smile on her face, even when things are a mess and her faith falls out of place, I'm that girl who believes in taking chances for what I want, instead of pretending to be happy as someone I'm not .
I'm that girl who's not afraid to let her emotions show, and learns to go on as her feelings start to grow, I'm that girl who would never give up on the love of her life, because thereare two paths she can make the wrong or the right, I'm that girl who would travel a million miles away, just to find the love that shes been waiting for everyday.
I'm that girl who dosen't care about what other people think of my style, the one that savors every moment even if its only for a little while,I'm that girl that can never keep a secret, I'm shy but that dosen't mean I can ever keep it, I'm that girl who kisses but dosen't believe, because she's sad if she lets go and then her love would leave.
I'm that girl that people call weird, random, and dramatic, but theres more to me if you'll listen behind all the noise and static, I'm that girl that can cry and laugh all at the same time, the one that's innocent looking but can commit a heartbroken crime, I'm that girl that trys hard to push herself through, the one that dosen't care if she'll ever fit in to be kool.
I'm that girl you can call unperfect, my hairs always a mess, I'm under alot of pessure and all the stress,I'm really not so diffrent as the rest, if it were up to me I'll say I come in second best. I'm that girl who loves to laugh, the one that can joke around till things get out of control, the one who envy's those skinny girls and there perfect lives, meanwhile I'm stuck on this wild ride.
I'm that girl that loves to dream, but this reality is not what it seems,a fairytale ending waiting to come true,
another risk worth taking what does she have to lose? I'm that girl who can never prove what she can really do,because she gives up to easily but none really knew, instead shes judged by others that are strangers to her eyes, bottled up with any goodbyes and silent cries for help, but nones there so she has to rely on herself...
I'm that girl, and that is my world...

Sitting, Wishing, Waiting
We're always waiting for something. It starts when you're a child; sitting in front of the oven waiting for the cookies to bake. It's knowing that you've done everything right and now all you're waiting on is the reward for your hard work. It's in your teens, when you're engrossed in "happily ever after" syndrome - waiting for your prince charming to come and sweep you off your feet and into the sunset. It's when you're eighty, slowly opening your eyes and feeling the world engross you in its entirety. Waiting for that moment, the moment where you close your eyes and the pain disappears - waiting for heaven to take you away. Throughout life we're taught to wait; we are taught patience, love and compassion. We learn that life is about waiting, it's about staying positive and looking forward to the future, no matter what may come our way.
I’m always holding back, can’t help it but I wish I could. I just get so uneasy, so nervous, scared that if I do what I really want to do and say all the things I set out to it’ll change the way you, and everybody else thinks of me. I want so much to forget about the risks, lose the fear and just be free. But I know I can’t because I’m only human, I’m scared. I think I think too much. I worry over things that have yet to come, wasting time lingering over the future so much that I miss out on the joys of the present. I need to stop, I need to stop being this over-analytic, paranoid little girl; I need to start to be myself again. Because I'm sick of missing out on the joys of this life worrying over such nonsense - things that may not even ever happen.
Stop speaking ill about others, start loving. Stop putting yourself down and start embracing the beautiful person that you are. Stop spreading hate, stop spreading lies. Instead share the joy of love. Spread peace, spread happiness. Stop this world from turning to dust - start a revolution. We need to stop breaking each other down. We need to stop this jealousy, the insecurity, the envy and the hurt. We need to stop comparing each other, putting each other down and hurting ourselves. Because you are beautiful. There is no need to compare, no need to envy, no need to speak badly and no need to bring each other down. We need to start sticking together, because in life we're all we've got.

Hope that's enough
How do you distinguish between what you want, and what you really need? The problem is as humans we cannot always find the difference between the things we simply desire and the things we utterly cannot do without. We don't know the difference, we don't know any better. We think we need things that don't even matter, and we take advantage of the things that do matter. And soon enough, we get what we deserve and the things we thought nothing of disappear. It's then we realise that it was the one thing that mattered the most. The only thing you ever really needed in the end. It's not about the big things. The great gestures, the public displays of affection. It's all the small things, pieced together one by one. Like a puzzle, it's no fun unless the pieces are small and the challenge is high. The little things in life are what makes life worth living. Making memories, one step at a time.
To be truly happy one must accept the circumstances which they live in. You must understand that this is what's been so graciously given to you, things that you could lose in but the blink of an eye. You must accept what you have, what you do not have. And learn to share the things others lack. Like love, hope, words of strength. To be happy one must do everything they can to make sure the people around them are happy as well. To be happy you must live, and to truly live you must love as much as possible, and be thankful for everything in this world because everything is beautiful and beauty deserves love. And love means happiness, always.
So, you'll come across so many people in your life. Ones you think will stay in your life, stay with you forever. You come across people you will love, very much. But sometimes love isn't enough to tackle all the obstacles in life and you will have to deal with the heartbreak of knowing that that person you love is gone and you're left, alone, to try your very hardest to fall out of love. To do something you never thought you'd have to do. Just keep your head held high. Don't let it get to you, don't fall apart. Clear your heart and let it go. And when it comes around again, let love in. Because you never know. It's all about having faith. Don't you ever, ever think that you are alone in this world. When you're feeling down, lonely, as if you walk this road alone, stop. Stop and look around you. There is always someone. There will always be someone. And if you see no-one, look deeper. Maybe that someone you need lies inside of you. You will never, ever in this world be alone. Just remember that.
To tell you the truth I don't have much to offer. But I'll still give you everything I've got, even if it's barely a thing at all. I'll give you late nights, long hugs. Someone to talk to, someone to care for, someone who will always be there. A hand to hold, somebody to lean on. And if that's not enough, just know you have all of me. I hope that's enough..

relationship.....hmmmm
PSEUDO-RELATIONSHIP: Others call it MU or mutual understanding, flings, harmless flirting, or even FUBU (if there are sexual encounters involved). A stage wherein the people involved are obviously more than friends, but not quite lovers. No courtship, you just let the gestures do the talking for you. You don’t even consider it as exclusively dating. You go out, text sweet nothings every single day, hold hands, make out, even have sex. . So now we know what’s it called -- why do people settle in this kind of setup? Well, based from my observation from people I know (and yeah, personal experiences as well), pseudo-relationships happen for several reasons.
First obvious reason is the refusal to commit. Either one or both of them. They want to play around and “enjoy” being single. Both are single, but usually one or both don’t wanna go through the drama of being in-love and change their relationship status on facebook. This normally happens when one of them just got out of a pretty messy relationship and wants to have fun. Classic.
Second, when one is committed to someone else and the other is the “alternate.” In short, third party. This is kinda hard core (in my opinion), especially since may mga naaargabyadong tao: the legit one and the third party. Most of the time, it’s the boys (I refuse to call them “men”) who usually enter in this kind of cheating setup but I’ve heard stories on girls too. Either way, having a “part-time partner” is a little too pathetic. How sad.
Third, the feeling of being accepted and loved. You refuse to be alone. For some, being single for quite some time equates to not being loved. Meaning, you settle for a playtime while waiting for the real thing. You want to experience the feeling again, excluding the tremendous responsibility of commitment. Who doesn’t want to feel being important? It is fun – until you get to question yourself if you wanna be just a stop-over or eventually be his/her destination.
Pseudo-relationships are indeed fun – in the beginning. It feels good to have someone asking you how your day was, constant movie-buddy, and text till wee hours of the night. But eventually, reality hits you when you start falling for that person and he or she is, well..not feeling the same thing. What if you already invested all your emotions and refuse to entertain other people out there and flirting with other people too? You can’t demand nor even ask, . The relationship is false, but the pain is real. And somehow, you hope that everything will go back to the way it was. You begin to rethink what went wrong, blame yourself and act all miserable. You try to win back that person, only to find out that that person is already in another pseudo-relationship with someone else.
As cliché as it may sound, but time really heals all wounds. It’s all about mind-setting. It will come to a point that you will have to choose how you want to live your life. Do you want to be happy and live for the moment even if it’s just a game? Or do you want to stop settling for pseudo-boyfriends/girlfriends and wait for the real thing?
For those who are into pseudo-relationships, brace yourselves as you are about to break one’s heart – either your partner or yourself.

I never told you..
“We must never forget that it is through our actions, words, and thoughts that we have a choice.” -Sogyal RinpocheNothing is as discouraging as feeling you don’t have a choice–that you’re trapped in a situation you can’t change, with a person who won’t change, or with feelings about yourself that you’ve stopped believing you can change.
We’ve all been there before.
We’ve accepted thankless jobs just to make ends meet. We’ve hurt or watched friends hurting, feeling powerless to end the pain. We’ve waited for love, or mourned unrequited love, or wondered if it was really better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. We’ve all felt helpless before, and we’ll all be there at some point again–yet we have far more power than we think.
We can’t always control our circumstances, but we can shape them with our actions. We can’t always save the people around us, but we can soothe them with our words. We can’t always create a world that feels safe, but we can choose how to experience it with our thoughts.
Every day we have limitless choices–thousands of mini-opportunities to live a peaceful, empowered life.
What choices will you make today?

Happiness
Happiness is waking up in the morning and realizing you still have a few more hours left to sleep.
Happiness is splashing in a pool on a hot summer day.
Happiness is not being bogged down by any worries.
Happiness is knowing someone you love, feeling the same way about you.
Happiness is having hot chocolate on a cold rainy day.
Happiness is being held by you.
Happiness is a side dish of French-fries.
Happiness is a new sweatshirt on a cold Saturday morning.
Happiness is winning an argument with your sister.
Happiness is having something to look forward to.
Happiness is the best seat at the parade.
Happiness is having the bell ring just as you are being called on to recite.
Happiness is a big muscle.
Happiness is loving your enemies.
Happiness is hearing the pediatrician say, "No, I guess she won't have to have a shot.
Happiness us an autographed baseball.
Happiness is being tickled under the chin.
Happiness is coming home form the hospital.
Happiness is a circus balloon.
Happiness is being named "Best in Show."
Happiness is a stack of old comic books.
Happiness is a Christmas vacation with no book reports to write.
Happiness is catching snowflakes on your tongue.
Happiness is surprising your Dad by shoveling the sidewalk before he gets home.
Happiness is licking the bowl.
Happiness is sleeping in the back seat on the way home. .
Happiness us being too sick to go to school but not too sick to watch T.V.
Happiness is a sad song.
Happiness is knowing you've made it through one more day.
These are all things that make me think about happiness, but You know what HAPPINESS is? It's waking up in the middle of the night, shifting blankets and feeling the heat of the person next to you. You turn around and you see that person in his/her most innocent state. You smile, kiss the face gently so as not to awake that person. You turn around and a grin forms on your face. Then, you feel an arm wrapped around your waist, and know it doesn't get any better than this.

to succeed
There are so many different opinions of what it means to be successful. I think most people think that to have money you are considered a success. I believe that there is much more to it. I like to think that money is just money. I know that at times I do complain about it, but hey it comes with working in non-profit. I like that when people make a comment to me about money I always just say- it's money- they make more of it tomorrow. I know that is somewhat true, but its just money. It can buy you things that make you happy, but that is only for a short time. I believe to succeded there is much more to this mix.
To Have Succeeded
To laugh often and love much:
To win respect of intelligent people
And the affection of children;
To earn the approbation of honest critics
And endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To give one's self;
To leave the world a little better,
Whether by a healthy child,
A garden patch,
Or redeemed social condition;
To have played and laughed with enthusiasm
And sung with exultation;
To know even one life has breathed easier
Because you have lived...
This is to have succeeded.
to live life- you have succeeded :)
Happy sunday

Give me something...
Hmm Give me something good I want it now...I think that is how most of us go through life. Today I was thinking of somethings that we dont always see. there is so much in life we take for granted, or dont want to happen, I guess this is another i learned in my 24 years blog....? I did bold some of my most favorite ones I have taken from 24 years of living...which do you like best?
01. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
02. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
03. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
04. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
05. Pay off your credit cards every month.
06. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
07. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
08. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.09. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past, so it won't screw up the present.
(Still a strugglie for me^)
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. No one is in charge of your happiness, but you.
25. Frame every so-called disaster with these words ''In five years, will this matter?".
26. Always choose life.
27 Forgive everyone for everything.
28. What other people think of you is none of your business.
29. Time heals almost everything. Give time, time.
30. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
31. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
32. Believe in miracles.
33. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
34. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
35. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
36. Your children get only one childhood.
37. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
38. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
39. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.
40. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
41. The best is yet to come.
42. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
43. Yield.
44. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift.

devote yourself..
sorry for another one- but this just like hit me at work!
Ideas and dreams come to us in a variety of ways, and no certain way that a dream or idea comes to us is typical. The development of a dream or idea has to be backed by usually a goal, which will stipulate to us the ultimate realization of our dreams. It is important when developing these goals not to understate or overstate the steps to achieve these goals, as we want to keep a steady pace without losing too much energy, or exerting too much at one given point that will make it likely for us to terminate the advancement of our dream if we run out of gas, or the essential energy/motivation we need to keep our dreams alive.
An important thing to remember on the journey to accomplishing our dreams is that like any part of our lives, nothing comes without struggle and sacrifice. Another attribute of chasing a dream to remember is that you will have to overcome your fears most of the time to make your dreams happen, and most importantly on you and no one else can make your dreams happen for you. Accomplishing a dream is best done with a positive attitude and a smile on your face. Your dream has a sole designer and superintendent, YOU, so make it happen

I am Thankful for
- ...the mess to clean up after a party
- because it means I have been surrounded by friends.
- ...the taxes I pay
- because it means that I'm employed.
- ...the clothes that fit a little too snug
- because it means I have enough to eat.
- ...my shadow who watches me work
- because it means I am out in the sunshine.
- ...the spot I find at the far end of the parking lot
- because it means I am capable of walking.
- ...all the complaining I hear about our government
- because it means we have freedom of speech.
- ...that lady behind me in church who sings off key
- because it means that I can hear.
- ...lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning and gutters that need fixing
- because it means I have a home.
- ...my huge heating bill
- because it means that I am warm.
- ...weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day
- because it means that I have been productive.
- ...the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours
- because it means that I am alive.
- Good days,
- Great days, and
- Outstanding days
you are...here?
What are your most basic questions? My first question has always been “What’s going on here?” Then “What’s really going on here?” Sometimes not easy questions to answer, but important to whatever comes next.
Don’t you love the maps found in large shopping malls or office complexes? The first thing you see is the circle with the X inside it saying “You are here.”
“Oh,” you say, “This is where I am, so now I know which direction to turn to get to where I want to be.”
Without the knowledge of where you are, you can’t know how close or far away you are from your destination. Just so, it’s important to know where you are in the great scheme of things in life. This question presupposes that you know something about the big picture and something about your destination (destiny).
And within these questions: “Who am I?”
My mother always told me, “Just be yourself, and you’ll be fine.” But who is that self? And how do you find out?
Questions, questions. When you’re searching for truth, what you often find first are questions to be explored if not answered definitively. Your answers may change and grow from time to time.
“The unexamined life is not worth living,” said Socrates. And behind that statement?
Well, that assumes you have a life to begin with. That means you have to live life first in order to examine it. If it is true that the unexamined life is not worth living, then it follows that the unlived life is also not worth examining.
Aspiring writers and actors are often told, “First, you have to live.” You have to have something to write about and experiences to draw upon.
Thoughtful and juicy questions may be one of the best ways to explore and examine your life to allow you to fully live and appreciate the life you have here and now, rather than wishing for some other place or some other life. This is what you have. Now is what you have. Here is what you have. Work with what you have.
If you’re in the here and now, just look about you. Be here. Be now. Describe what you see, feel, smell, taste, hear, touch. You’ll soon enough find plenty to think about and write about, plenty to ponder.
Formal writing prompts and jump-start quotations can also be brilliant food for thought. And why do they appeal to you? Because they’ve acted as an entrance into your own inner life. Something within you resonated with what you found in someone else’s experience.
Reading biographies, memoirs, autobiographies, and fiction can help you to explore your own life stories, both old and new. Can help you re-interpret your past stories to use them as building blocks for your new paths.
You learn that you are not alone in all the world. You no longer have to remain “a stranger in a strange land.” You can find at least one other story that is remarkably like your own. You learn that others have faced and surmounted the same challenges that you do. “The way is thoroughly known,” wrote Joseph Campbell. You are not the first to tread this path, to make this journey.
And those who have gone before you have left maps. They have pointed out the rocks, crevasses, mountains, dangerous swamps and quicksand. They can inspire you to a new level of living. By showing you what peace and happiness they have attained. They can teach you if you will read, listen, and be open to learning.
Be teachable.
Practice beginner’s mind at whatever stage you find yourself, and you may find that one or more “maps” buried in your library, bookstore, or Internet sites will both show you the big picture and say to you, “You are here.”
